Join us for a FREE collaborative online gathering designed to support our community in finding calm, developing effective coping skills, and fostering resilience in the wake of trauma, loss, and the recent fires. Trauma lives in our bodies and minds—but so does healing.
Led by local psychologists Drs. Ron Alexander, Bonnie Goldstein, and Elisha Goldstein, this workshop will introduce supportive mindfulness practices, mind-body techniques, and sensorimotor/somatic methods to aid self-healing. Together, we will explore practical, evidence-based strategies to reduce stress, ease anxiety, and restore a sense of safety while developing a sustainable mental health plan for well-being.
Participants will learn how to shift from reactivity to presence, increasing receptivity and responsivity in their daily lives. This CE-approved workshop (for LCSWs, Ed.M.s, MFTs, and nurses) includes interactive mindfulness and somatic exercises grounded in sensorimotor psychotherapy principles.
Because trauma manifests differently for everyone and healing unfolds over time, this workshop will be recorded, allowing continued access to its concepts and practices.
